Here, we also have the option to choose which device Skype will use through this drop down. This brings up the same menu we would see if we had clicked on the Option Icon and navigated down here to Audio Device. I can also click on Audio Device Settings to edit and customize my devices and other audio options.

If you don’t see the device you’re looking for, just plug it in and install it, and Skype for Business will automatically detect the device. Then, I can just click on the one that I want to use. If I click on the Audio Device Icon, Skype will show me a list of audio devices that are ready and able to be used. I’m going to go back to my Contacts List. I am looking at my Contacts List now, and you can see it right here, but if I click on any other screen-the chat room or conversation history tabs, for instance-you can see that the Audio Device Icon is always visible right down here.
In any of the screens in Skype for Business, you will see the Audio Device Icon in the bottom left hand corner. This is an important step in getting set up before you join a call or meeting.
